By using the platform, creating an account, or submitting or accepting a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted this agreement and the Privacy Policy. If you represent an organization, you confirm authority to bind it.
1Acceptance and scope
This agreement governs your access to Bookasion and use of the website, accounts, dashboards, search, communication and booking services, and connected functionality. The Privacy Policy and any terms or policies displayed on a service or booking page form part of this agreement where applicable.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or use the platform. We may request renewed acceptance after a material amendment.
2Platform role and marketplace nature
Bookasion provides an online marketplace that helps clients discover, compare and contact hospitality and event service providers and submit booking requests. Unless expressly stated otherwise, each provider is independent and responsible for performing its service and is not an employee, agent or partner of the platform.
We may review identity, profiles or content and issue a verification badge, but the badge only indicates completion of the platform review at the time issued. It is not an ongoing guarantee of quality, safety, licensing or outcome. Clients must perform appropriate due diligence before booking.
3Eligibility and account creation
- You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement and provide accurate, complete and current information.
- You may not create multiple accounts to evade controls, impersonate a person or business, or use a phone number you do not own or are not authorized to use.
- You are responsible for password confidentiality, device security and activity through your account, except where caused by a compromise not attributable to your failure.
- You must promptly report unauthorized access or loss of access credentials and update contact details when they change.
4Client obligations
- Provide accurate details about date, venue, guest count, requirements and constraints affecting service delivery.
- Obtain venue permissions and required approvals and provide safe, suitable provider access at the agreed time.
- Review the service description, price, scope, equipment, exclusions and cancellation policy before confirming a booking.
- Pay amounts due on agreed dates and not request illegal, dangerous or out-of-scope work without written agreement.
- Act respectfully and not discriminate against, abuse or harass providers, staff or platform users.
5Service provider obligations
- Provide truthful business, experience, service, availability, pricing and image information and keep it updated.
- Maintain legally and professionally required licenses, permits, registrations, insurance and qualifications and provide evidence when requested.
- Perform services carefully, professionally, on time and according to the listing, offer and written agreement with the client.
- Do not accept a booking on an unavailable date. Once a request is accepted for a date, the date is shown as booked and conflicting requests may be rejected automatically.
- Remain responsible for staff, contractors, equipment, safety, taxes, invoices and other business obligations.
- Protect client data and use it only to perform a booking or authorized purpose, and not move communications off-platform to evade fees or protections.
6Listings and submitted content
Titles, descriptions, images, prices and offers must be clear and not misleading, and must identify inclusions, exclusions and material conditions. We may change presentation or hide or reject content that is non-compliant, low quality or incomplete.
You retain ownership of content you upload and grant the platform a non-exclusive, worldwide and sublicensable license, to the extent necessary, to host, display, format and promote the service and operate the platform while the content remains available and for a reasonable period for backups and records.
When adding service images, the provider confirms that it has the right to use them and associate them with the service and that the content is not misleading or in violation of intellectual-property or privacy rights. Service descriptions and images may not be used to circumvent the platform by publishing direct contact details or inviting clients to complete bookings outside it. The platform may remove violating content or suspend the service during review.
7Booking requests and formation of agreement
- A client submission is not acceptance of a booking. The request remains under review until accepted by the provider or confirmed by the platform under the displayed workflow.
- When a request is accepted, a service agreement forms between the client and provider based on the request details, service listing, offer and any documented communications or additional terms.
- Both parties must review the date, time, venue, scope and price before acceptance. A material term may not be changed after acceptance without the other party’s agreement.
- We may send status notifications, but users must monitor their dashboards. We are not responsible for failure to read a notice sent to registered contact details.
8Prices, currency and payments
Platform amounts are displayed in UAE dirhams (AED) unless an additional display is legally required. Providers must disclose known taxes, fees and additional costs before acceptance. A material charge may not be added after acceptance without client approval.
When electronic payments are enabled, an independent payment provider may process the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy. Amounts may be held, refunded or transferred according to booking status and the cancellation policy. Users remain responsible for valid payment methods and bank-imposed charges.
The platform may correct an obvious pricing or amount error before service performance, with notice to the parties and an option to cancel where the correction is material.
9Cancellations, changes and refunds
The cancellation policy shown on the service or booking page and any written terms agreed by the parties apply, subject to mandatory legal rights. A cancellation or change request must be made through available channels and its reason documented.
- If a provider cancels or cannot perform, it must promptly notify the client and cooperate with an appropriate refund or replacement.
- If a client cancels, actual incurred costs or an agreed amount may be deducted depending on cancellation timing and completed preparations.
- Force majeure or events reasonably beyond control are handled in good faith under law and booking terms and may result in rescheduling, credit or refund.
10Ratings and reviews
A review must reflect a genuine experience and be accurate, respectful, non-extortionate, non-discriminatory and free of unnecessary personal data. We may remove non-compliant, fraudulent or irrelevant reviews, but are not required to pre-screen all content.
Providers may not buy reviews, offer incentives conditional on a positive rating, or retaliate against a legitimate reviewer.
11Prohibited use
You may not use the platform to:
- violate law or third-party rights or offer an unlawful or unlicensed service where licensing is required.
- commit fraud or falsify identity, reviews, prices, documents, payment status or verification.
- hack or test the platform without authorization, introduce malware, disrupt it or bypass access controls.
- scrape user data, send spam or use data for unauthorized marketing.
- post abusive, discriminatory, obscene, violent, privacy-infringing or intellectual-property-infringing content.
- evade fees, policies, booking or availability systems, or create sham bookings.
12Intellectual property
The platform, software, design, logo, databases and original content belong to Bookasion or its licensors. Use does not transfer ownership. You may use the platform only for authorized purposes and may not copy, sell, reverse engineer or create a competing service based on protected elements without permission.
If you believe content infringes your rights, send a description of the work and right, the content URL, contact details and a statement that the request is accurate.
13Privacy and data
The Privacy Policy explains how data is collected, used, shared and protected and describes your rights. Each user receiving another person’s data through the platform must use it only for the authorized purpose, protect it and not retain it longer than necessary.
Read the Privacy Policy14Disclaimers of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an available and as-possible basis. We seek accuracy, continuity and security, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that every listing, review or user is accurate at all times. We do not guarantee the outcome of an independent service or fitness for an undisclosed special purpose.
This agreement does not exclude any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, opportunity or data arising from platform use or an independent provider’s performance. No limit applies to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud or damage caused by gross fault where exclusion is prohibited.
You agree to indemnify the platform for reasonable claims and losses arising from your breach of this agreement, law or third-party rights, or from a service you perform as a provider, except to the extent caused by the platform’s fault.
16Suspension and termination
You may stop using the platform and request account closure, while obligations relating to bookings, payments and disputes remain. We may restrict, suspend or terminate an account or content where there is reasonable suspicion of breach, fraud, security risk, non-payment or a competent authority request.
We will seek to provide notice, reasons and a reasonable opportunity to cure where appropriate and safe, but action may be immediate in urgent cases. Terms that by their nature survive termination remain effective, including payment, ownership, privacy, liability and dispute provisions.
17Governing law and dispute resolution
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and applicable local laws in the emirate where the operator is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights. An affected party should first contact us with dispute details and attempt good-faith resolution.
If an amicable resolution is not reached, the courts with jurisdiction in the United Arab Emirates will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law or a written arbitration agreement requires a different route.
18General terms and amendments
- The agreement may be updated due to service or legal changes. The revised version and date will be posted, and renewed acceptance may be requested for a material change.
- If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as necessary and the remaining terms stay effective.
- A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without consent, while the platform may transfer it in a restructuring or sale with continued protection of your rights.
- The Arabic and English versions describe the agreement. If a translation conflict exists, the Arabic version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
- This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and booking-specific terms, forms the complete agreement governing platform use.
